Essential Services: As defined in the new Standard General Medical Services contract: ”Services required for the management of …registered patients…who are, or believe themselves to be ill with conditions from which recovery is generally expected; terminally ill; or suffering from chronic disease. Appropriate ongoing treatment and care…health promotion advice and the referral of the patient for other services” (Clause 47)
Additional Services: cervical screening, contraceptive services, vaccinations and immunisations, child health surveillance, maternity services & some minor surgery procedures.
Enhanced Services: flu vaccinations, minor surgery, childhood immunisations and vaccinations, IUD fitting, contraceptive implants as well as a number of other services.
In addition to the doctors and practice nurses there are other healthcare professionals who are based at the practice or who come in at regular times during the week in order to care for our patients.

The Midwives run two clinics a week and two Community Psychiatric Nurses and a Physiotherapist also see patients. We have a Practice Pharmacist attached to the surgery.
