If you think that you may require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete a travel questionnaire in the first instance - ideally at least 8 weeks before you travel. This can be completed on-line and submitted electronically by clicking on the link below or by collecting a form from the reception desk.
Our travel nurse will then look at your form to determine what vaccinations you require (if any). You will then be contacted by a receptionist in order to make your appointment who will advise if your recommended vaccinations will incur a charge (payable in advance). Generally travel vaccination appointments are on a Thursday afternoon.

Hepatitis A Vaccinations
Unfortunately there is a worldwide shortage of Hepatitis A vaccinations and we do not have any in stock at the present time. We have been advised limited supplies may not be available until 2018.
Hepatitis B Vaccinations (for travel purposes)
This vaccine is not available on the NHS for travel purposes. We can offer this privately and the course consists of three injections, which will cost £90.00 made up of an administration fee of £45.00 plus £45.00 for the three injections. This is payable at reception before your first injection is given. The receptionist will give you a receipt for you to show to the nurse before your injection is given.
Rabies Vaccinations (for travel purposes)
This vaccine is not available on the NHS for travel purposes. We can offer this privately for a fee of £45.00. A private prescription will be generated for you to collect to obtain the vaccinations from a chemist of your choice. Note you will have to pay for the cost of the vaccine at the chemist and the chemist will usually have to order it in which may take a few days.
