BRIDGE SURGERY'S PATIENT GROUP & VIRTUAL PATIENT REFERENCE GROUP

HAVE WE GOT YOUR MOBILE TELEPHONE NUMBER?
It would be really helpful if you could provide us with your mobile telephone number - if you have one. We may need to contact you urgently about an appointment or medical matter. We now send text reminders out one working day before booked appointments to those patients with a mobile number recorded. If you prefer NOT to receive text messages from us please let us know and you won't be sent any - even if we have your mobile number recorded in order to contact you in an emergency. We are hoping that this may help to reduce the high number of wasted appointments we have - an average of 100 appointments a month are wasted equating to around 20 hours of clinical time.
Moving House? Important Information
Please be aware that if you move house and your new address is within Stretton, Rolleston on Dove, Anslow, Tatenhill, Lodge Hill or Derbyshire we will ask you to register with a GP closer to your new address.
Ordering Your Repeat Prescription Online
Just click on the Prescriptions tab on the top left hand side of this page or the Repeat Prescriptions link at the bottom of this page, complete the online form (remembering to 'uncheck' any items that you do not need this time) and click Send Request. You will receive an e-mail confirming that we have received your request. Prescriptions will be available for collection 48 hours (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) from receipt of your order. Please remember requests sent over the weekend will not be picked up by the reception team until Monday and will not be ready for collection until Wednesday. We now receive almost 700 requests a month in this way!
Surgery Car Park
If you travel by car to the surgery, please ensure that you drive slowly and carefully keeping to the left through Holly Green. Please park ONLY in the surgery car park or preferably use nearby public parking areas. Holly Green is private and its parking areas are for permit holders only. Thank you for your co-operation.
